DJ Cassidy is one of the world’s favorite celebrity hip hop DJs. Born and raised in New York City he has recently found a new apartment in an unusual place – the Upper East Side the denizen of upper middle class financiers, bankers and the like. Unknown to many people theis was the area where he was raised and many family members live close by. He looks upon it as a way to separate his career from his personal life.
DJ Cassidy is a busy man and plays over 200 shows a year, and payments for these can range up to $100,000 per show. It is estimated that he made two million dollars last year.
Cassidy is a prodigy of Sean P-Diddy Combs whom he met in a NYC nightclub. He has DJ’d at many events for celebrities including President Obamas inauguration, Jay-Z and Beyonce’s wedding festivities, Kanye West and Jennifer Lopez.
DJ Cassidy’s home is rented, and he is currently not interested in buying because he does not want to pack all his belongings and memorabilia! It’s a two bedroom that’s chocked full of memorabilia – including sections on Michael Jackson and Run DMC. The kitchen includes an extensive toy collection still in original packaging. His bedroom is home to his extensive, extravagant wardrobe. The 2nd bedroom in his apartment is his office. This is home to his 20,000 plus cd collection.
So if he were to buy a home what would he like? Well, he would still want a home located on the Upper East Side – along with real estate in Palm Beach, Venice, Italy and Saint Tropez. That way he can wear pink on a year long basis!
